RVing With The Fergs

Our Ministry (As Full-time RVers)

Allen & DonnaHello!  We are Allen & Donna. God has presented to us a wonderful plan to share with others how amazing God has been in our lives, and how God can be just as wonderful in their lives. It has been laid upon our hearts to go out and spread the Word of Jesus Christ in the RV community.

We belong to the Escapees RV Club (www.escapees.com) and their excellant organization contains many individual groups based on various interests. They are called BOFs, or Birds Of A Feather. Some of the BOFs are: Geocachers, Boomers, Elks, Boondockers, Four Wheelers, and many more. We joined the Christian Fellowship BOF. And I was even elected the Western Vice President! Our group holds rallies and get togethers around the country. We have morning devotions, potlucks, service work projects, movie nights, hikes, worship, singing, fun and fellowship. All Christians can use more fellowship. Join Escapees, and join us. The Christian Fellowship BOF website is at www.cfbof.com. Also on Facebook - SKP Christian Fellowship BOF.

There are many individuals and families who live in or near RV Parks and campgrounds across America. Many are lost and do not know Christ. They may not attend church regularly or they simply lack Christian fellowship opportunities. It is our goal to reach out to the RV Parks, campgrounds and surrounding communities and provide casual worship and Bible study opportunities, good Christian fellowship, free Bibles and other bible study materials to all who will accept it, as well as giving our testimony and leading others to Christ. We will encourage those we meet to seek out a local, Bible believing church that they can attend regularly.

On The Road...

Our Humble Mobile Abode After saying goodbye to our family and friends we hit the road. We operate the ministry out of our 2008 Southwind Motorhome. That may sound small but 350 square feet is more than enough for us! We live in the RV full-time; it is our only home and is just perfect.

We go wherever the Lord leads us to do His work. There are so many people who want to hear about Jesus, who need to hear about Jesus and we are anxious to share the gospel with them! The Bible tells us that we are to go out and share His Word; God has shown us the need, we acknowledge the need, and know that God will use us to make it happen. It is a blessing to be used by the Lord.

Please pray for us as we obey The Great Commission. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)

Our Beliefs

The Scriptures - The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

God - There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

Father - God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ - Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His substitutionary death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin.

Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.

Man - Man is the special creation of God, in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore every person of every race possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation - Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification.

Return of Christ - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

It is our privilege to share God's plan with all that will listen.
It is our duty to be open to the calling of God as he leads and directs us.
It is our honor to give the glory to God for all things accomplished.

And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges,
and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.   Luke 14:23

Our friends Jerry and Cynthia Winegard had an excellant site called www.rvroadtrip.us - The Adventures of Jerry and Cynthia, Full-time RVing on a Budget. Not only is this a great site, and they also had a RV Minisrty called RV Outreach (www.rvoutreach.org). Our ministry to the RV community is exactly what they had been doing. We are structuring our ministry based on Jerry and Cynthia's model. Our beliefs are their beliefs. I couldn't have stated it any better. After all, we serve the same Lord!

Visit their sites for some good information and fun.
