Year Four Recap 9/5/2016 to 9/4/20174 Years of Fulltime RV'ing
Four Years On the Road completed, Starting Year Five, Crescent Bar RV Resrt - Quincy, WA - September 5, 2016
Even though we sold the house and moved into our 5th wheel in 2012, September 5th, 2013 was the date we hit the road, our 'anniversary'.
Here is the Year 4 Recap.
We began year 4 finishing our workamping gig at Crescent Bar TT Resort. It was time to head south and the first stop was Bend, OR where we travelled the 'Ale Trail'. As we headed toward Arizona, we stopped at 4 new Thousand Trail parks we hadn't been to in California. After enjoying the Palm Springs area for awhile, we headed to Death Valley National Park to a rally with our Christian Fellowship group. After that, we headed to the Sedona, AZ area (beautiful) then to Copper Mountain RV Park in Tacna, AZ where my Sister Karen was working, to have Thanksgiving with them. Then north to Las Vegas to meet up with our Daughter, Kim for Christmas and New Years. Then we headed to Quartzsite to boondock and attend the Christian Fellowship rally. We then headed towards El Paso, TX for Donna's annual doctor checkup. We actually stayed in Deming, NM for that. With that out of the way, we headed back to the Yuma and Quartzsite areas to boondock for the rest of the winter. When it was time to head north, we headed towards north through California, stopping in Visalia to visit Donna's cousin, Louise. Then on to Oroville, CA to visit with 2 of Donna's Brothers, Larry & Garry. From there, we continued north to Florence, OR where we visited with my cousins in North Bend/Coos Bay, and with Donna's Brother, Gene. Then up into Washington where we travelled around visiting with our kids, grandkids, and even great grandkid too. We attended 2 Good Sam rallies in Washington, In June, Donna decided to do a little workamping at Crescent Bar TT Resort to help out. Then Donna's Brother, Gene had some serious medical issues and we decided to head down to Florence, OR to care for him. After 5 weeks with him, we headed back to Washington for my colonoscopy, and to say goodbye to all our kids. It was time to head south again. This trip south, we stopped at Wallace, ID, a really cool town, Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park, where we toured the caverns, and spent time in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks. We finished up year 4 at the Elks Lodge in Idaho Falls, ID.
