Year Seven Recap 9/5/2019 to 9/4/2020
4 Years & 3 Months Fulltime RV'ing, 2 Years & 9 Months Part-time
Seven Years Since Hitting the Road. Year Seven started at our Yuma Home Base - Yuma, AZ - September 5, 2019
Even though we sold the house and moved into our 5th wheel in 2012, September 5th, 2013 was the date we hit the road, our 'anniversary'.
Here is the Year 7 Recap.
We began year 7 with our Arctic Fox fifth wheel, but sold it and the truck in November. Then 4 days later, bought a Class C. It is the first Class C for us. I moved all our solar, inverter, and batteries over to the new motorhome. Our first trip was to Southern California to visit our daughter. Then to Lost Dutchman State Park with friends to climb Flatiron. In January, we went to Quartzsite for our annual visits. The Class C didn't really ring our bell, so we sold it in July. This time, I let all our electronics go with it. All that gear was over seven years old. Then in August, we bought a 2014 Nissan Titan to pull a 2010 Dutchman travel trailer. We went small. I ordered 2-200 watt solar panels and a charge controller so far.
