I started my Wenatchee High School drivers training when I was 14 years old ( a junior in High school). After a few classroom presentaitions, I turned 15 and was able to get my driver's permit. As I was starting to drive in school, I was learning to drive my brother's 1964 VW Beetle. When I turned 16, I took the Washington State driver's test and passed it driving my 1964 VW bug. I also got my motorcycle endorsment that same day on a Honda 160 CB motorcycle. Here is the bug with my brother and grandmother.
My next VW Bug was in 1974. We had a 1961 Bug. Sorry, no pictures of this one.
Then we were in the Army and in Germany and we had another VW bug.

Later we got a VW Camper Van.
In 1992, we got a 1970 VW bug. Our son Tim learned to drive in this one.

In 2007, I bought a 1970 Bug that had a good body, but no engine.

With 2 bugs, and lots of parts, I combined pulled the motor from the rotten bug and installed it in the Good bug.

Then I had to get rid of all the VW junk that was left over.

Then while living in Yuma, AZ, I bought a 1967 VW Bug that had been restored, modified with lots of goodies, and built-up engine. Loved this one.

When we decided to get back on the road fulltime in our RV, so we sold it.
We took off travelling the contry again in our RV, and thought,
